...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of Bland, Giles, and Tazewell counties in
southwest Virginia and portions of Mercer, Monroe, and Summers
counties in southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 935 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Back Creek, Blue Lick Creek, Adair Run, Big Spring Branch,
Beaver Branch, Big Branch, Bluestone River, and Blacklick
Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to a half an inch is expected
over the area.
